Former U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) Endorses Hallie Shoffner for U.S. Senate at Stuttgart Town Hall
Lincoln praises Shoffner’s integrity, independence, and commitment to putting Arkansas first
STUTTGART, Ark. — Former U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln endorsed Hallie Shoffner for the United States Senate during a community town hall Thursday in Stuttgart, calling Shoffner the leader Arkansas needs to fight for the state’s farmers, working families, and rural communities.
The town hall brought together a wide range of Arkansans — including farmers, educators, emergency medical professionals, doctors, seniors, agricultural workers, and community leaders — to discuss the challenges facing their families and communities. The farm economy crisis was a major focus of the conversation, along with education, rising costs, access to opportunity, and the need for stronger representation in Washington.
A sixth-generation Arkansas farmer, wife, and mother, Shoffner has made strengthening rural Arkansas and restoring a strong voice for the state’s agricultural communities central to her campaign.
Shoffner attended Vanderbilt University on a full scholarship and studied abroad — experiences that deepened her appreciation for education and broadened her understanding of the global markets and trading partners critical to Arkansas agriculture and other industries. As the mother of a school-age son, Shoffner also understands personally what access to a strong education means for Arkansas children and the future of the state.
“Hallie Shoffner understands Arkansas because she has lived Arkansas,” Lincoln said. “She knows firsthand the challenges our farmers, small towns, and rural families face every day, and she has the integrity, work ethic, and independence to fight for them in Washington. Arkansas deserves a senator who will put Arkansas first, and I believe Hallie is ready to provide that leadership.”
Lincoln’s endorsement comes as Shoffner continues her Arkansas Voices Tour, traveling the state to hear directly from Arkansans and build a campaign rooted in listening before leading.
Shoffner said the endorsement represents more than the support of a respected former senator — it reflects a growing coalition of Arkansans ready to move beyond partisan politics and focus on solving real problems.

During the town hall, attendees shared their experiences and concerns about the challenges facing Arkansas communities. The discussion included declining commodity prices, rising farm production costs, barriers confronting young farmers, access to quality education, health care and emergency services, and the need for federal leaders who will listen to Arkansans and advocate for them in Washington.
